Yolanta Gawlik was born in Poland and have been living in UK since 1990. She studied in the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Lodz, Poland, obtaining MA.
Yolanta works from her studio in Folkestone, Kent. Her practice includes painting, drawing and printmaking, where she creates limited edition lithographic prints and later paints over them with watercolour, so that each print is completly unique.
Yolanta has had five solo shows of painting, prints and drawings in UK, Poland and Holland, and has taken part in many exhibitions.
Her paintings were featured in BBC1 'Homes under the hammer' in December 2005 and January 2007.
