Visual Diary
During 2009, 2010 and part of 2011 I have been running a Visual Diary on my Facebook page, posting one photo a day. This documented my life in Folkestone, where I had moved after living in London for 19 years.
Posting the photographs from my life on Facebook in the form of a diary put my artistic actions in a more immediate social context. In effect what started as a monologue became the dialogue, with people commenting on the photos and starting their own visual diaries.
The following photo-collages take my Visual Diary a step further: by collating and transforming the images I take another look at my experience of living in Folkestone.
