My solo exhibition titled 'Butterflies, Moths, Bees and Us' was presented in the Natural History Museum in Jelenia Gora, Poland in September 2016. The exhibition comprised of mixed media paintings, drawings and other work inspired by pollinating insects.
Included in the show was an installation of two large size textile objects in the form of monk habits. Monks were traditional beekeepers throughout the ages. The habits depict the life and endangerment of honeybees which is now particularly prevalent.
The exhibition was accompanied by a series of lectures and events about the bees and the dangers they face.
